Description

Perennial herb or vine; Leaves alternate and trifoliate; Fruit is legume. Found in well-drained soils of pine flatwoods, pine rocklands, and scrub. Rhynchosia cinerea occurs throughout peninsular Florida in approximately 20 counties. Highlands County, FL: 3 miles N. of Sebring on U.S. 27 along railroad track growing in sandy soil at the edge of palmetto-scrub oak woods.
